REHABILITATION PSYCHOLOGY TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
There are a number of publicly available directories for psychology trainees to find open positions for training in rehabilitation psychology. CRPPTP encourages trainees to use the following directories/resources when searching for internship and postdoctoral training programs. When searching programs, please keep in mind that directories cannot assure absolute accuracy of the information provided. Accreditation of specific programs can be verified through the American Psychological Association (link: APA Accreditation) or Canadian Psychological Association (link: CPA Accreditation).
Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC)
This is a comprehensive, searchable directory of APPIC-member predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training programs in health service psychology. Search criteria may be tailored to rehabilitation psychology programs with keywords and advanced search options (e.g., "Training Opportunities"). Division 22 is the division of the American Psychological Association dedicated to Rehabilitation Psychology. The Division 22 email list/listserv includes announcements of training programs, and opportunities to connect with the Student Leadership Network (SLN). Student membership dues are highly discounted.
